The Rocket Software MultiValue (MV) team invites all MV customers with an MV data server (UniVerse, UniData, D3, jBASE, or OpenQM) serial number on active maintenance to sign up to use the
Rocket® MultiValue Developer Assistant.
The Assistant is a hosted, AI-infused solution that helps developers improve productivity by increasing their proficiency in the MV BASIC language translating to less time coding and maintaining MV applications written in MV BASIC.
Some specific features include:
- Generate MV BASIC code via natural language queries (e.g., "Write code to open a file and iterate through all records. For each record, print each field to the screen.")
- Autocomplete MV BASIC code directly in the VS Code® Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
- Explain MV BASIC code in natural language.
- Generate comments for existing MV BASIC code.
